The Woodlands Township has announced an extension to the pool season, offering residents additional opportunities to enjoy local aquatic facilities. According to Township News, the regular pool season will conclude on August 11, with post-season hours commencing on August 12. Nine pools will remain open on weekends, and Shadowbend Pool will be available during weekdays, providing ample time for residents to enjoy the water through September 7, 2026.
The post-season weekday pool, Shadowbend Pool, will operate Monday through Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m., remaining closed on Fridays. Weekend pool hours will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Additionally, the pools will be open on Labor Day from noon to 6 p.m. The six township spraygrounds will continue to be accessible daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until October 31, 2026.
