45Drives Announces First Wave of Featured Speakers for Fourth Annual Creator Summit

45Drives today announced the first wave of featured speakers for its fourth annual Creator Summit, scheduled for October 20-22 at the Skyline Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. As organizations accelerate efforts to build private AI infrastructure and creators increasingly adopt self-hosting and open-source technologies, the event aims to bring together enterprise technology leaders, infrastructure architects, and the open-source community to explore the future of private AI, data sovereignty, enterprise storage, automation, and AI-powered creative workflows.

The confirmed speakers include representatives from Unraid (Lime Technology), which recently announced a strategic partnership with 45HomeLab to deliver purpose-built server platforms running Unraid OS for the growing self-hosting and homelab community. Leaders from JR Automation, a Hitachi Group company and a leading provider of advanced manufacturing automation and robotics, will share insights into industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing. Wendell Wilson, founder of Level1Techs, will offer expertise on enterprise hardware, Linux, AI infrastructure, and open computing. Jeff Geerling, bestselling author and influential technology creator, will cover self-hosting, Raspberry Pi, and open-source technologies. Tom Lawrence, founder of Lawrence Systems, will discuss networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.

According to Dr. Doug Milburn, CEO of 45Drives, the technologies transforming AI, enterprise infrastructure, and digital creativity are emerging from communities that value openness, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Creator Summit exists to bring these communities together, and the announced speakers embody that spirit. The event will feature two dedicated tracks: the Enterprise Track, focusing on private AI infrastructure, high-performance storage, cybersecurity, virtualization, and data sovereignty; and the Creative Track, examining how AI reshapes content creation, filmmaking, design, and production workflows while empowering creators to own their work.

Now in its fourth year, Creator Summit continues to expand alongside the rapid evolution of AI and enterprise infrastructure. Attendees can participate in person or virtually through a global livestream featuring keynote presentations, technical sessions, panel discussions, live demonstrations, networking events, and hands-on workshops. Additional speakers, sessions, and partner announcements will be revealed throughout the summer and early fall as 45Drives prepares for its largest Creator Summit to date.

Registration is open at 45drives.com/creator-summit. 45Drives designs and manufactures open-source data storage, private AI, and enterprise infrastructure solutions that provide organizations complete ownership and control of their data, built on technologies including Ceph, ZFS, Linux, and Kubernetes.
