NEW YORK, NY - June 18, 2026 - VerifyInvestor.com, powered by tZERO Group, Inc., today released The Accredited Investor Outlook 2026, a research report examining how accredited investors are deploying capital and evaluating opportunities. The report, based on survey responses from over 200 verified accredited investors collected in April 2026, highlights a market in motion with significant capital ready to be deployed.
More than three-quarters of respondents (77%) plan to make an investment within the next six months, with nearly half anticipating activity within three months. Real estate (66%) and private equity/venture capital (61%) led investment interest, while digital asset securities attracted interest from 27% of respondents, exceeding categories such as infrastructure, hedge funds, and energy-focused investments. This interest is notable given that only 11% described themselves as very familiar with tokenized securities, suggesting that education is the primary barrier to broader adoption rather than a lack of demand.
The survey reveals a nuanced decision-making framework among investors. While expected returns ranked as the top evaluation criterion (70%), management quality (50.5%), downside protection (49%), and sponsor track record (48.5%) were nearly as important. Liquidity potential ranked among the lowest criteria at 18%, indicating a willingness to commit capital to longer-duration opportunities when fundamentals are compelling.
