AdvantaPure, a division of NewAge Industries, has launched EcoFlex, a new sustainable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing designed for biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical applications. The product was announced on February 24, 2026, and will be formally introduced on February 25, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina, in partnership with Carolina Components Group (CCG) at the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering's Carolina–South Atlantic Chapter event.
EcoFlex utilizes a bio-based oil instead of traditional fossil-based oil in the polymer manufacturing process, resulting in an approximate 25% reduction in product carbon footprint (PCF) compared to conventionally manufactured TPE. The tubing is sealable and weldable, available in a broad range of configurations, including single-use systems and custom designs. A comprehensive validation package is provided to meet the stringent requirements of regulated biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical environments.
