Angelic Visions, a new salon specializing in healthy hair care, is now open and accepting appointments at the Salon and Spa Galleria South Cooper in Arlington, Texas. Loctician Angel Vaughan, who has 16 years of experience, is the founder and lead stylist. Vaughan's mission is to educate clients on maintaining healthy hair, addressing common issues such as damage and improper routines.
“Most of my clients have specific issues and are looking for guidance to help get their hair back on track,” Vaughan said. “Right now, my focus is on educating my clients about the proper products and routines for natural, healthy hair.”
Vaughan attended cosmetology school at Aladdin's Beauty Academy in Lawton, Oklahoma. One of her specialties is the silk press technique, which uses a blow-dryer and flat iron to straighten hair without chemical relaxers. The process involves washing, conditioning, and blow-drying, followed by straightening with a flat iron, with heat-protectant products applied to minimize damage.
Angelic Visions is currently accepting new clients by appointment only. To accommodate busy schedules, Vaughan offers after-work appointments starting at 6 p.m. and is available all day on Saturday.
