Developed in collaboration with ABB Robotics, the system is mounted on an ABB GoFa collaborative robot arm, enabling high-resolution scanning outside traditional studio and museum environments. The platform scans eight times faster than its predecessor and can capture surface geometry and true color with accuracy down to 10 microns, generating Arius Digital Master Files (ADMF) that support preservation, research, and digital asset management.
According to Arius Technology, Moneta allows institutions and investors to safely digitize artworks, monuments, and cultural sites directly on location, including frescoes in chapels, historic interiors, and large-scale architectural surfaces. The mobile system leverages ABB's GoFa robot's precision, repeatability, and compact design, making it possible to operate in spaces previously inaccessible to high-resolution scanning without disturbing fragile environments.
