Bestselling author Jody Sharpe, who has been collecting angel stories for years, is now issuing an official call for submissions. These stories, which can be submitted at jodysharpe.com, may be featured on her YouTube channel and in her next book, a prequel to the Mystic Bay series.
Sharpe, a 1st Place Winner of the 2023 and 2024 National Association of Press Women's Communications Contest Awards for Fiction, has long woven real-life angel encounters into her novels. Her latest book, New Angel In Town, is based on stories she has heard over the years, fictionalized and embedded into the narrative. In it, a new angel named Ron arrives in Mystic Bay, California, to ensure his charge, a boy in foster care, finds a forever home.
“I have heard so many angel encounters from others that I’ve been compelled to tell them in my novellas and on my channel,” Sharpe said. “I am writing a new novella, a prequel to the Mystic Bay series, and I will weave more new stories people tell me and those of my own into the book.”
Sharpe’s YouTube channel, available here, brings together angel stories, discussions on bullying, and other topics. She hopes to create a collection of angel accounts involving sightings, interactions, and miraculous interventions.
