Blue Lagoon Resources Wins Prestigious 2026 PDAC Sustainability Award

Blue Lagoon Resources Inc. (CSE: BLLG; OTCQB: BLAGF; FSE: 7BL) has been awarded the 2026 Sustainability Award by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), recognizing outstanding leadership in environmental stewardship and community engagement. The award, presented on March 3, 2026, at the PDAC Convention in Toronto, is a rare distinction for a company of Blue Lagoon's size and underscores the significance of its partnership with the Lake Babine Nation at the Dome Mountain Gold and Silver Project in British Columbia.

Chief Wilfred Adam and Deputy Chief Bessie West of the Lake Babine Nation attended the ceremony to support Blue Lagoon, highlighting the strength of their collaboration. Chief Adam noted that the partnership is built on respect for their Yintah and a shared commitment to protecting the land while creating meaningful opportunities. The award reflects what can be achieved when industry and First Nations work together in a spirit of trust and responsibility.

Rana Vig, President & CEO of Blue Lagoon Resources, accepted the award alongside Chief Geologist Bill Cronk, who has been instrumental in advancing the Dome Mountain project. Vig emphasized that the recognition belongs as much to the Lake Babine Nation as to the company, stating that their trust helped shape Blue Lagoon's operations and leadership. He also acknowledged the dedication of the entire team, particularly Cronk's unwavering belief in the project's potential.

The PDAC Sustainability Award is one of the mining industry's most respected global honors, and Blue Lagoon's receipt of it marks a significant milestone for the company. The Dome Mountain Gold Project recently transitioned into production, demonstrating the company's commitment to responsible mining practices, environmental stewardship, and meaningful Indigenous partnerships.

Blue Lagoon Resources is a Canadian-based mining company producing from its 100% owned Dome Mountain Gold Mine near Smithers, British Columbia. In February 2025, the company achieved a major milestone with the granting of a full mining permit, one of only nine issued in British Columbia since 2015. Since then, it has commenced underground mining operations, with mineralized material processed under a long-term toll milling agreement with Nicola Mining. The company plans to reinvest internally generated cash flow into near-mine and regional exploration in the second half of 2026 to further expand its resource base.

The company's objective is to be a profitable, cash-flowing gold producer while creating lasting value for shareholders and stakeholders, with a strong commitment to sustainability, community, and First Nation engagement. For more information, visit the company's website at Blue Lagoon Resources.
