The City of Boerne is revving up for 2026 with a full slate of classic car shows and automotive events that celebrate the region's vibrant car culture, from vintage tractors to European motors. The events, which run from March through October, are designed to bring together car enthusiasts, families, and the local community while supporting nonprofits and small businesses along the Hill Country Mile.
According to a news release from Visit Boerne, the 2026 calendar kicks off March 7 with the Power of the Past, a vintage car, engine, and tractor show marking 40 years of The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center. The event features live music, reenactors, food vendors, and awards for the Top 30 Vehicles, as well as Best in Show Car and Truck. On March 28, the Italian Motor Gathering returns to Main Plaza for its seventh annual exhibition, open to all Italian marques and free for spectators.
April 18 brings the Texas Corvette Association Open Car Show, now in its 33rd year, drawing nearly 500 Corvettes and classic vehicles to Main Street. The show includes live music, food trucks, and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting SJRC Texas. The same day kicks off the Black Rifle Block Parties, community events hosted by Black Rifle Coffee Company on April 18, July 4, and September 26, featuring live music, food, and car shows.
October 1 marks the Hill Country Mile Rod Run, hosted by Cibolo Creek Motor Club from October 2-4, open to all American cars, trucks, and motorcycles from 1985 and older. October 24 features the South Texas All British Car Day at Main Plaza, showcasing British-made automobiles, followed by the German Motor Gathering on October 31, the premier exhibition of German motoring in the Texas Hill Country, open to all German marques on two or four wheels and free for spectators.
“Our events are more than just car shows, they’re celebrations of community, history and Texas pride,” said Tori Bellos, Marketing Specialist at Visit Boerne, in the release. “Whether you’re a collector, a spectator, or just love being around cars, there’s something for everyone.”
Vehicle registration, schedules, and parking maps are available online, with many events free for spectators and including live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
