Burrow & Associates Launches $1,000 Road to Recovery Scholarship for Students Who Help Others

Burrow & Associates, LLC, a Georgia-based law firm, has announced the launch of its Road to Recovery Scholarship, a $1,000 award designed to support a student who has shown dedication to helping others through injury, illness, or hardship. The scholarship is open to students across the United States enrolled in or accepted to an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program, including community college students, high school seniors, and GED holders. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate a genuine commitment to aiding others in difficult times.

The application process requires a 1,000-word essay responding to three prompts about helping others through challenging circumstances. Along with the essay, students must submit a current resume and an unofficial transcript. All materials should be emailed to scholarships@legalatlanta.com by August 31, 2027. The scholarship recipient will be announced on October 1, 2027.

Unlike many scholarships that focus on academic achievement or career goals, this award specifically values real-world actions taken to support others in recovery. A qualifying applicant might have cared for a family member after an accident, volunteered with individuals healing from injury or illness, or assisted a neighbor in getting back on their feet after a difficult period. The scholarship is intentionally open to students in any field of study, not just those pursuing legal careers.

Founding attorney Darrell L. Burrow explained the motivation behind the scholarship: "After a serious injury, recovery depends on the people who step in to help, and we have seen firsthand how much that support matters for our own clients. This scholarship is our way of recognizing students who have taken real action to help others recover and rebuild, and who plan to keep doing that work long after they graduate."

Burrow & Associates has been assisting Georgia residents with personal injury and consumer bankruptcy cases since 1996. The firm has recovered millions of dollars across more than 10,000 personal injury settlements and is known for treating clients with dignity and offering compassionate representation. This scholarship reflects the firm's ongoing commitment to the communities it serves.

Students with questions about the scholarship or application process can email burrowscholarship@legalatlanta.com. The office is unable to accept phone inquiries regarding the scholarship.
