Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Unveils Largest Ever Season, Including New Niagara Falls Event

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its largest-ever series of events for the 2026 season, spanning from June through September and featuring a new addition: Salsa at Niagara Falls. The expansion to one of Canada's most iconic tourism destinations marks a significant milestone for the festival series, which has grown from a local street celebration into a nationally recognized cultural platform.

Salsa at Niagara Falls, scheduled for September 12 and 13, is organized in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, 'Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for... We’re delighted to welcome this celebration of Latin music, dance, and food for the first time.'

The 2026 season also sees expanded support from longtime festival sponsor TD Bank Group, which has grown its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec’s Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager of Philanthropy and Corporate Citizenship at TD Bank Group, noted, 'Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art. We’re proud to support access to cultural experiences that help people feel welcome, seen and connected.'

Returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12), and TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23). Salsa on St. Clair, Canada’s largest free Latin-themed street festival, will feature over 350 live performers, weekend headliners such as JUNO nominee Andy Ruba and award-winning Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, over 35 authentic Latin food vendors, and 25+ dance instructors.

Returning program favorites include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition at Toronto’s Little EGG Gallery (June 6 – July 12), free dance lessons across Southern Ontario (May–August), Salsa on Market Street (August 9), and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums (August–October).

TLN Media Group, founder and longstanding official media partner of Salsa in Toronto, has championed the festival’s growth. Aldo Di Felice, President & Managing Partner of TLN Media Group, said, 'Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada’s premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond.'

The Salsa Festival series is produced by the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization. For more information, visit salsaintoronto.com.
