Charbone Unveils 2026-2030 Strategic Plan to Transform into Integrated Industrial Gas Group

CHARBONE CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), a North American producer and distributor of clean Ultra High Purity (UHP) hydrogen and strategic industrial gases, has unveiled its comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic plan, marking a transformation into an integrated, global industrial gas group. The plan builds on the company's foundation in decarbonized UHP hydrogen and aims to expand into UHP gases, specialty gases, and, in North America, UHP industrial atmospheric gases to strengthen recurring revenue and operational efficiency.

The company positions itself as a premium mid-tier player, more agile than major industrial gas suppliers and more complementary to regional distributors, with a strong differentiation in quality, metrology, and traceability. CHARBONE aims to meet the critical needs of high-growth industries, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence and data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense technologies. These markets demand impeccable quality, speed of execution, and security of supply, which are central to CHARBONE's strategy.

The strategic plan is built on a two-pillar approach in North America. Pillar A focuses on UHP and specialty gases, including UHP Hydrogen (HyChem UHP™), Helium, Electronic Gases, and Specialty Gases, which offer high margins. Pillar B targets industrial and atmospheric gases, such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, UHP Argon, CO2, and Industrial Blends, providing recurring revenue and optimized logistics. This combination is intended to increase commercial depth, customer loyalty, and financial resilience. CHARBONE plans to strengthen its presence in the Northeast and Pacific technology corridor of the United States.

A disciplined operating model includes the continued development and commissioning of the Sorel-Tracy plant in Quebec, which serves as the anchor for North American expansion. The company plans to deploy 6 to 8 regional hubs in North America and internationally, reducing time-to-market, standardizing operations, strengthening customer relationships, and optimizing logistics costs. This hub-and-spoke model supports growth while maintaining capital discipline.

Internationally, CHARBONE targets expansion into Europe and Asia-Pacific with an asset-light approach focused on partnerships and structuring contracts. In Germany, the company plans to establish a strategic UHP platform, while in Malaysia, it aims to create an Asian hub for semiconductors and electronics. The expansion will leverage partnerships and long-term contracts to minimize capital expenditure.

Dave B. Gagnon, CHARBONE’s Chairman and CEO, stated: “At CHARBONE, we are not changing direction, we are expanding it with discipline. We started with one molecule: clean UHP hydrogen. Today, we are building an integrated platform of high-value industrial gases, tailored to the critical needs of the industries of the future. Our ambition is clear: to become an internationally recognized player known for quality, reliability, and speed of execution. We want to be a strategic partner for our customers, not just a supplier. CHARBONE is moving forward with a pragmatic, structured, and results-oriented approach – combining innovation, operational excellence, and financial discipline. The future of industrial gases is being shaped now and CHARBONE is ready.”

CHARBONE is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV: CH), the OTC Markets (OTCQB: CHHYF), and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE: K47). More information is available at www.charbone.com.
