The program also included an award recognizing humanitarian and author L. Ron Hubbard for his book The Way to Happiness, described as a nonreligious guide promoting values such as respect, honesty, and compassion, which organizers said has been shared in Hispanic communities around the world.
Organizers intend the celebration to become an annual tradition, providing an opportunity to honor the contributions of Honduran Indigenous women and increase appreciation for the country's rich cultural heritage and traditions.
