Comedy Village NYC, located at 352 West 44th Street in Times Square, has announced two special Pride Month comedy events: “People Be Gay... and Hilarious!” on Wednesday, June 24 at 8PM and “Celebrate Pride Feat” on Thursday, June 25 at 8PM. The shows aim to bring together laughter, identity, and community in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, steps from Broadway and the Theater District.
The lineup includes standout comedians such as Harrison Greenbaum, Jaye McBride, Akeem Woods, Paula J. Leon, and Oscar Aydin. Greenbaum, known for his appearances on America’s Got Talent, Conan, and Last Comic Standing, brings sharp writing and fast-paced delivery. McBride, recognized as the first openly transgender American comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden and named to Vulture’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know” list in 2022, adds an authentic voice to the celebration.
“These shows are about celebrating Pride with laughter, visibility, and community,” said a Comedy Village representative. “New York City has always been a place where comedy, culture, and identity meet. Pride Month is the perfect time to bring people together for a night of big laughs, great energy, and unforgettable live entertainment in Times Square.”
Comedy Village continues to grow as a destination for live stand-up comedy, nightlife, group outings, date nights, and birthday celebrations.
