Comedy Village Returns to New York Comedy Festival for Third Year with Star-Studded Lineup

Comedy Village, the renowned comedy hub in Hell’s Kitchen established by seasoned comedian PJ Landers, is set to host top-tier comedic talent for the 2026 New York Comedy Festival, taking place from November 6-15 across New York City. This marks the third consecutive year that Comedy Village has participated in the festival, solidifying its role as a key venue for one of the largest comedy events in the United States.

The club’s involvement matters because it provides a platform for both established names and rising stars, contributing to the festival’s reputation as a premier showcase for stand-up comedy. Comedy Village’s state-of-the-art, two-story venue near Times Square and Broadway theaters offers an intimate setting where audiences can experience comedy up close, with two shows nightly, seven days a week.

The lineup for this year’s festival at Comedy Village features a diverse array of performers. On Sunday, November 8, the Sweet & Sour Chicks Comedy Tour with Kiki Yeung and Esther Ku will take the stage at 7:00 PM. Tuesday, November 10 brings Late for School Starring Jimmy Cash at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, November 11, audiences can enjoy Samuel Orson at 7:00 PM, followed by the Headliner Series with Lance Weiss also at 7:00 PM. Thursday, November 12 features Billie Lee at 7:00 PM and Paige Gallagher at 9:30 PM. Additional shows and performers may be announced, and the schedule is subject to change.

PJ Landers, owner of Comedy Village, emphasized the significance of the festival and its founder, Caroline Hirsch. “New York City is the greatest comedy city in the world, and Caroline Hirsch has played an enormous role in making it that way,” Landers said. “What Caroline has built with the New York Comedy Festival is extraordinary. She took an idea and turned it into the largest and longest-running annual comedy festival in the United States, while creating a platform that brings together the biggest names in comedy with the comedians who are going to be the next big names. We’re proud to join the festival for a third year, showcasing the brightest talent on Comedy Village stages this November.”

Comedy Village’s participation in the festival highlights its enduring legacy in the comedy community. Founded in 2004 by Landers, the club originally operated in Greenwich Village, where comedy legends like Dave Attell, Bill Burr, and Dave Chappelle honed their craft. In 2024, Comedy Village moved to its current Hell’s Kitchen location, bringing its signature blend of high-quality comedy to one of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The new venue features two floors, each with its own unique showroom, ensuring a comfortable and entertaining experience for every guest.

The New York Comedy Festival, founded in 2004 by Caroline Hirsch, is the largest and longest-running annual comedy festival in the United States. Produced by Carolines, it brings together the biggest names in comedy, emerging talent, and comedy fans from around the world for 10 days of performances and special events at venues throughout New York City.
