Connected Solutions Group (CSG), a national leader in wireless distribution and deployment services, has announced the private acquisition of 5Gstore and its parent company, MDG Connected Solutions. The transaction, targeted to close in February 2026, brings together two organizations with complementary strengths in cellular hardware, services, and customer experience.
5Gstore will continue to operate under its existing brand, with founders Michael and Julia Ginsberg remaining in leadership roles. Mike Ginsberg said, “At this stage in our careers, we weren't simply looking for an exit, but a partner who sees the value in what we have built and has the desire to take it to the next level.” The founders emphasized the importance of doing right by employees and ensuring the business’s future success.
CSG CEO Michael Pittman described the acquisition as “a dream come true,” noting years of ideation about combining forces with the Ginsbergs. The unified organization aims to become a “customer-experience giant,” building on each other’s strengths. Customers, partners, and manufacturers should expect full business continuity, with ordering, fulfillment, technical support, and vendor relationships remaining unchanged.
CSG has built a strong national reputation for large-scale wireless deployment and enablement services, including programming, staging, kitting, logistics, installation, and managed support. The company maintains deep carrier relationships and a nationwide operational footprint supporting enterprise, government, and SMB customers. This acquisition is designed to expand capabilities rather than consolidate operations, providing customers with additional deployment and managed service options.
