Datavault AI and Patriot Strategic Metals Announce $700M Platform for Tokenizing Strategic Mineral Assets

Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT) announced a proposed strategic partnership with Patriot Strategic Metals LLC to jointly develop the Strategic Materials Acquisition Platform, an institutional digital infrastructure platform designed to support the financing, tokenization, settlement and lifecycle management of strategic mineral assets. The companies said the platform would combine Patriot Strategic Metals’ strategic metals operations with Datavault AI’s real-world asset tokenization technology, AI-enabled digital infrastructure and blockchain-based settlement capabilities.

The proposed partnership contemplates an initial Phase I platform development program of up to $700 million, subject to financing, definitive agreements, board approvals and regulatory requirements, with approximately $62 million allocated for Datavault AI-related technology integration, licensing and platform development. Datavault AI said the framework is intended to create recurring revenue opportunities through technology licensing, platform services and transaction-based activities, while providing the company with a 25% share of net distributable platform profits unless otherwise agreed for specific transactions or special purpose vehicles.

This announcement signals a significant step in bridging traditional resource extraction with emerging digital asset infrastructure. By tokenizing strategic minerals—materials critical for defense, energy, and technology supply chains—the platform could enhance liquidity, transparency, and accessibility for investors and stakeholders. The integration of AI and blockchain may also streamline compliance and lifecycle tracking, addressing long-standing challenges in the mining and metals sector.

For Datavault AI, the partnership represents a potential expansion of its technology licensing model beyond its core acoustic and data sciences divisions. The company’s platform, which already serves industries including fintech, real estate, and energy, would now extend into natural resources. The revenue-sharing arrangement and recurring income streams could provide financial stability if the platform achieves scale.

The full press release detailing the partnership is available at https://ibn.fm/GKFE7. Datavault AI’s technology suite includes the Information Data Exchange, which enables digital twins and secure attachment of physical assets to immutable metadata, as described on their website at https://dvlt.ai.

Forward-looking statements in the announcement highlight risks such as financing contingencies and regulatory approvals, as detailed in the company’s SEC filings. The success of the platform will depend on execution and market adoption, but the initiative underscores a growing trend of digitizing real-world assets through AI and blockchain technology.
