The appearance of Darren Ewert and Mike Dreher as featured leadership speakers at Enagic Canada's 20th anniversary celebration in Vancouver on September 20, 2026, underscores the growing prominence of online-built distribution networks within the direct-selling industry. The event, which the Dream Team says drew more than 1,200 attendees, marked Enagic's 52nd Anniversary Global Recognition Celebration and highlighted the pair's decade-long journey as independent distributors.
Ewert and Dreher, co-founders of the online business community known as the Dream Team, reached their 10-year milestone in the industry in April 2026. They started with a Facebook group of 30 people in 2016 and, according to a March 2026 interview on the Direct Selling Accelerator podcast, grew it to about 276,000 members. That scale matters: it demonstrates how digital communities can amplify reach for direct-selling companies like Enagic, which has operated in Canada since 2006 and whose parent company has a 50-year heritage in Japan. Enagic's product line includes the Leveluk series of alkaline water ionizers, such as the Leveluk K8, SD501DX and SD501 Platinum, as well as the Anespa DX home spa system.
The Dream Team's model, which they describe as online network marketing with a mentor-led approach, may offer a template for others in the sector. Unlike traditional models where sponsors may do the work for new members, this approach emphasizes guidance, potentially leading to more sustainable business-building. Ewert and Dreher bring complementary backgrounds: Dreher worked in corporate sales and marketing before moving into business coaching, while Ewert had an online marketing background that included email marketing. Their ability to leverage digital tools has likely contributed to the community's growth.
“It was an honour to be featured among the leadership speakers at Enagic Canada's anniversary celebration and to be part of a milestone that so many people in the Enagic community worked toward,” Ewert said. Dreher added, “Celebrating a milestone like this alongside so many people from the Enagic community was a highlight of our year.”
The recognition at Enagic Canada's event follows a busy year for the Dream Team. The community held its BC Gather and Grow in Vancouver on September 19, with about 500 attendees in person and another 500 online. Earlier in 2026, it launched a Coaching Training Program in March, met at a Toronto Team Summit in April, and hosted Gather and Grow events in Ireland and the United Kingdom in May and in Florida in June. These activities suggest a deliberate expansion strategy, both geographically and in terms of offerings. For Enagic, aligning with such a large, active distributor network could strengthen its market position in Canada and beyond. More information is available at www.darrenandmikedreamteam.com.
