Drug-Free World Mobile Exhibit Engages Thousands at Glendale Cruise Night

The Foundation for a Drug-Free World featured its interactive Mobile Exhibit at the 31st Annual Glendale Cruise Night on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM along Brand Boulevard in Downtown Glendale. The event, one of Southern California's premier classic car gatherings, drew over 45,000 attendees and showcased hundreds of classic cars, live music, vendor booths, and family activities.

The Drug-Free World Mobile Exhibit offered visitors of all ages free, fact-based educational materials aimed at preventing drug abuse and empowering youth to make healthy choices. Attendees explored high-impact audio and visual displays and received free Truth About Drugs educational booklets covering substances such as alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, and synthetics. The exhibit also featured interactive displays detailing the real-world physical and mental impacts of drug abuse.

"Reaching youth and families where they gather is vital to effective drug prevention," said Karla Bartholomew, Chapter President for Foundation for a Drug-Free World. "Cruise Night offers a wonderful community setting to share fact-based information that empowers individuals—especially young people—to make informed, healthy life choices."

In addition to educational materials, the exhibit facilitated a pledge drive where 141 individuals, mainly children and teens, took the "Drug-Free Pledge" to commit to a drug-free lifestyle. The foundation also provided free curriculum packs and DVDs for families and educators. It supports the humanitarian goal of creating a drug-free, crime-free world where human rights are a reality, as envisioned by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard. The mobile exhibit's presence at Cruise Night underscores the importance of community engagement in drug prevention efforts, reaching thousands with vital information that can save lives.
