Evolution Metals & Technologies Provides Fiscal 2026 and 2027 Revenue Guidance as Pohang Expansion Advances

Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: EMAT), a U.S.-based critical materials and advanced manufacturing company, has issued initial revenue guidance for fiscal 2026 and 2027, signaling a major transition as its Pohang, Republic of Korea, expansion advances. The company expects revenue of $5 million to $8 million in fiscal 2026, followed by a substantial jump to $400 million to $460 million in fiscal 2027. This guidance reflects the shift from its current production base to the first full year benefiting from the Pohang expansion, which is set to dramatically increase rare earth magnet production capacity.

The expansion involves the delivery and installation of thirteen additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines, scheduled for November 2026. These machines are expected to raise annual rare earth magnet production capacity from approximately 1,000 metric tons to approximately 10,000 metric tons, including approximately 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets. This capacity increase positions EM&T to meet growing demand for critical materials used in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and other advanced technologies.

Supporting the expansion, EM&T plans to increase electrical infrastructure serving the Pohang operations from 130 MW to approximately 750 MW, acquire approximately 1.3 million square feet of adjacent land, and has received a conditionally approved grant of approximately $20.7 million from Pohang City and Gyeongbuk Province. The company has also secured non-China NdPr metal sourced from SRE Vietnam and announced Tier-1 OEM quality certifications across six grades of high-performance sintered NdFeB magnets. These certifications are crucial for supplying major original equipment manufacturers and demonstrate the company's commitment to quality and reliability.

EM&T emphasized that its fiscal 2027 guidance reflects anticipated utilization during the production ramp rather than the revenue potential of the planned capacity at full utilization. This suggests significant upside potential once the expansion is fully operational. The company's vertically integrated supply chain, spanning end-of-life electronics and batteries, high-grade concentrates, and the manufacture of finished rare earth magnets and battery materials, is a key competitive advantage. As the only vertically integrated critical materials supply chain of its kind, EM&T is well-positioned to capitalize on the increasing global demand for rare earth magnets and battery materials.

The announcement underscores the importance of securing domestic and allied sources of critical materials, reducing reliance on China. With the Pohang expansion, EM&T is set to become a major player in the global rare earth magnet market, which is essential for the transition to clean energy and advanced manufacturing.
