BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH — Six years after its founding, Fifty5 Rivers is marking its anniversary with a major expansion: the introduction of Fifty5 Rivers Cafe, set to open this fall inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center. The new cafe represents the company's first dine-in hospitality concept, pairing its signature cold brew and other beverages with food offerings in a space designed for conversation and collaboration.
Founded in 2020 by James and Lynne Mowery, Fifty5 Rivers has grown from a simple belief in the power of handcrafted beverages to bring people together into a family of experiences serving the Miami Valley. The company's RIVER values — Reliability, Inspiration, Value, Education, and Respect — have guided its expansion through manufacturing, grab-and-go service, mobile hospitality, and wholesale operations. Now, with the addition of Fifty5 Rivers Cafe, the company is creating a permanent gathering place for both the public and the regional business community.
The cafe will be located inside the Business Success Center, a hub for entrepreneurship and professional development. Wendy Rodgers, President & CEO of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "Fifty5 Rivers embodies the innovative and community-focused spirit we envisioned becoming part of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center. Their commitment to quality, hospitality, education, and meaningful relationships aligns beautifully with our mission to create an environment where businesses and people can thrive together."
For Fifty5 Rivers, the choice of location was deliberate. "When we founded Fifty5 Rivers six years ago, we set out with a simple vision: to create exceptional handcrafted beverages while building meaningful connections within our community," said James and Lynne Mowery in a joint statement. "Opening Fifty5 Rivers Cafe inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center is more than an expansion. It is the creation of a place where those connections can continue to grow."
The new cafe will complement the company's existing operations, which include Fifty5 Rivers Cold Brew, its Fairborn production facility; Conflooence by Fifty5 Rivers, a grab-and-go coffee shop inside that facility; and the Fifty5 Rivers BARge, a mobile beverage experience serving festivals, weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings. Construction is underway, and additional details about the grand opening will be announced in the coming months.
This expansion comes at a time when local businesses are increasingly seeking ways to foster community engagement. By aligning with the Chamber's vision for economic growth and collaboration, Fifty5 Rivers is positioning itself not just as a beverage provider but as a community hub. The cafe is expected to serve as a venue for meetings, informal gatherings, and everyday connections, reinforcing the company's commitment to strengthening the social fabric of the region.
As Fifty5 Rivers celebrates six years of growth, the introduction of the cafe signals a new chapter in its mission to craft exceptional beverages while creating experiences where meaningful relationships can flourish. The company's journey, which began with a mountain biking trip in Virginia where James discovered cold brew coffee, has evolved into a multifaceted business that continues to innovate and invest in the community. With the upcoming opening, Fifty5 Rivers is poised to deepen its roots in Beavercreek and beyond.
