First Orion, a provider of branded calling solutions, announced today the April 2026 release of its Global Exchange platform, which will be previewed at Mobile World Congress (MWC, Booth #CS176) from March 2-5, 2026. The update introduces support for CAMARA-standard APIs and expands international carrier connectivity, building on the platform first launched in 2025.
The Global Exchange platform enables branded calling across multiple networks. By integrating CAMARA-standard APIs, the platform aligns with industry efforts to standardize network APIs, potentially simplifying how carriers and businesses enable branded calls globally. CAMARA, an open-source project supported by the Linux Foundation and the GSMA, aims to create consistent APIs for telecommunications services. First Orion's adoption of these standards could allow enterprises to deploy branded calling more consistently across different carrier networks without custom integrations.
In 2026, First Orion plans to expand European connectivity through Global Exchange to include Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, as well as additional carriers in Germany and the United Kingdom. This expansion addresses growing demand for cross-border branded communications in Europe. The company already integrates with major U.S. mobile carriers and aims to extend that capability internationally, enabling businesses to present verified, branded calls to customers abroad.
The announcement comes as businesses increasingly seek to combat call fraud and improve answer rates. Branded calling solutions display a company's name and logo on the recipient's phone, even if the number is not saved in contacts. This transparency helps build trust and reduces the likelihood of legitimate calls being ignored or marked as spam. By expanding carrier connectivity and adopting standardized APIs, First Orion's Global Exchange could make these benefits more accessible to enterprises operating in multiple countries.
First Orion's preview at MWC will showcase how the platform integrates with carrier networks using CAMARA APIs. Attendees can visit the company's booth to see demonstrations. The full announcement, including downloadable images and bios, is available here.
