G Mining Ventures Corp. (TSX: GMIN) (OTCQX: GMINF) reported preliminary second-quarter gold production of 36,845 ounces from its wholly-owned Tocantinzinho Gold Mine in Brazil, a 16% increase from the first quarter. The company also reaffirmed its full-year 2026 production guidance of 160,000 to 190,000 ounces, with production expected to be weighted toward the second half of the year.
Year to date, G Mining Ventures has produced 68,691 ounces of gold and sold 71,215 ounces. During the quarter, the mine processed ore at an average rate of 11,121 tonnes per day with an average gold recovery of 91.9%. The company noted that second-quarter mining reached a record 6.3 million tonnes as operations advanced waste stripping and pit development to access higher-grade Phase 2 mineralization.
The production increase underscores the ramp-up of the Tocantinzinho mine, which achieved commercial production in late 2024. The company expects about 62% of its annual output to occur in the second half of 2026, indicating further operational improvements ahead. G Mining Ventures plans to release its full second-quarter financial and operating results on Aug. 12, followed by a conference call on Aug. 13.
This performance is important as it demonstrates G Mining Ventures' ability to execute its development strategy and move toward becoming a mid-tier precious metals producer. The company is anchored in mining-friendly jurisdictions, including Brazil and Guyana, with the Tocantinzinho Gold Mine, the Gurupi Project, and the Oko West Project. Strong production and maintained guidance provide confidence in the company's growth trajectory and its access to capital and development expertise.
