Gina Iafrate's Award-Winning Novel The English Professor Free on Amazon October 19-20

Award-winning author Gina Iafrate has announced that the ebook version of her romantic fiction novel, The English Professor, will be available at no charge on October 19 and 20, 2026, at Amazon. The promotion offers readers an opportunity to begin the Strong Women series, which follows characters across generations and continents. The novel, which has received acclaim, centers on Andrew Robertson, an introverted, middle-aged professor who leaves his unremarkable London life for Sicily. There, he becomes infatuated with another man's wife, Francesca, and their passionate affair results in a child. Andrew must return to London, while Francesca must protect herself and their child from her violent husband. The story sets the stage for the sequel, The Professor's Daughter, which follows Gracy Robertson, the love child of that intense affair. Raised in hiding by her devastated father after her mother's death, Gracy eventually faces the loss of her father and must navigate love and danger across the ocean. The third book, Love and Betrayal, continues Gracy's journey as she confronts her husband's infidelity and finds the strength to rebuild her life. Iafrate's works are known for their rich, tactile descriptions of exotic locales, allowing readers to travel without leaving home. Her writing has been compared to that of Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham, and she was a 2016 Book Excellence Award Finalist. The free ebook promotion is significant because it provides an accessible entry point to Iafrate's extensive body of work, which includes other titles in the Strong Women series such as The Girl From The Cornfield, Bestowed By Love And Splendour, and the anthology Releases From My Soul. Readers can download the free ebook by visiting Iafrate's Amazon author page on October 19 and 20. The author, who is bilingual and writes in both Italian and English, divides her time between Hollywood, Florida; Niagara, Ontario; and Europe. Her books are available at online retailers and traditional brick and mortar bookstores, and more information can be found at her website. The free ebook offer is expected to attract both longtime fans and new readers to the series, which explores themes of love, loss, and resilience. With the upcoming release of her seventh novel, The Shoeless Boy, this promotion also serves to introduce Iafrate's storytelling to a wider audience, reinforcing her place among contemporary romantic fiction authors.
