Golden Cariboo's Inaugural Resource Estimate Reveals Over 1 Million Ounces of Gold at Quesnelle Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC) (OTC: GCCFF) has released an inaugural independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its 100%-owned Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, located approximately 4 kilometres northeast of Hixon in central British Columbia. The estimate, prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng., of Bird Resource Consulting Corp., an independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101, reports 10 million tonnes at 0.56 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) containing 178,000 ounces of gold in the Indicated category, plus 71 million tonnes at 0.44 g/t AuEq for 1.0 million ounces of gold in the Inferred category, using a cut-off grade of 0.15 g/t AuEq and an effective date of September 26, 2026.

The significance of this resource lies in its efficiency: it was defined from only 24 of the 30 Company drill holes, totaling less than 8,500 metres of drilling. President and CEO Frank Callaghan called the estimate "a tremendous achievement" that "validates the strength of the Halo discovery." The Halo deposit, which remains open in all directions, extends over a strike length of 1,150 metres and a width of about 420 metres. Notably, the Main zone and four other parallel geophysical and geochemical targets with multi-kilometre potential are excluded from the current estimate, providing a clear pathway for future resource growth.

Investors can view the detailed Table 1. Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property at the Base Case cutoff - Effective Date September 26, 2026, which outlines the mineral resource statement. Additionally, a Click to see the figure which is a long-section through the center of the deposit, looking SW at Az=235o. The figure plots the composited and block Au grades for both the Halo and North Hixon zones of the deposit. The resource pit is shown in black with provides a visual representation of the deposit's geometry and grade distribution. The estimate's sensitivity to cut-off grade is illustrated in Table 2 is provided to illustrate the sensitivity of the estimate to cut-off grade. The base-case cut-off used for the Mineral Resource Statement is highlighted. Sensitivity cases do not constitute alternative Mineral Resource Statements..

The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, located just 4 kilometres from Hixon with year-round road access and an existing rail corridor. Major suppliers and services are available from Prince George and Quesnel, both about 45 minutes away. This positioning supports efficient advancement and local economic benefits. The MRE is based on 8,509 gold assays from 24 NQ diamond drill holes totalling 8,466 metres, with QA/QC protocols including certified reference materials, blanks, and duplicates. The technical report will be filed on SEDAR+ within 45 days.

While the resource is substantial, it remains classified as mineral resources, not mineral reserves, and thus does not demonstrate economic viability. Inferred resources are considered too speculative geologically to have economic considerations applied. The Company has not completed a preliminary economic assessment or feasibility study. Known risks include permitting, First Nations consultation with Lheidli T'enneh First Nation, metallurgical testwork, and commodity price assumptions. The Company plans further drilling to upgrade Inferred to Indicated, conduct metallurgical testwork, and environmental baseline studies.
