Golden Goose Resources Ltd. has entered into a definitive agreement with Valcheta Exploraciones S.A.S. to acquire up to a 100% interest in the Gran Esperanza Project, a high-grade epithermal gold-silver property located in Río Negro Province, Argentina. The agreement represents a major corporate milestone for Golden Goose and reinforces its strategy of acquiring district-scale, high-grade precious metal assets in proven mining jurisdictions.
The Gran Esperanza Project spans approximately 44,400 hectares in the Los Menucos District of the North Patagonian Massif, a region known for high-grade precious metal potential. The property is surrounded by major operators, including Southern Copper, and is located near the Calcatreu Project currently under development. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, situated about two kilometers from a paved highway with gentle topography and secondary roads.
Historical exploration at Gran Esperanza has mapped over 10 kilometers of low-sulfidation epithermal gold vein exposures, with veins averaging 1-5 meters in width. Trenching and channel sampling have returned high-grade results, including 2.0 meters at 24.0 g/t Au and 5.0 meters at 13.1 g/t Au. A site visit by Golden Goose in December 2025 confirmed the high-grade potential, with rock-chip samples returning up to 14.34 g/t Au.
Under the option agreement, Golden Goose can earn up to 100% interest through staged cash payments and exploration expenditures totaling US$1,889,500 and US$2,599,000, respectively. The project is subject to a 1.0% net smelter return royalty, of which Golden Goose can purchase 0.5% for US$1.0 million. Golden Goose retains flexibility to accelerate payments or expenditures.
Upon exercising the first option, Golden Goose and Valcheta will form a joint venture with Golden Goose holding a 51% interest, or the company may proceed directly to 90% ownership by exercising the second option. Exercising the third option grants Golden Goose 100% undivided interest.
CEO Dustin Nanos commented, "Signing the Definitive Agreement for Gran Esperanza represents an important milestone and transformative step for Golden Goose. The project stands out due to its favorable structural setting, confirmation of surface-exposed vein networks, excellent historical grades, and outstanding site access."
