Green Choice Proteins to Enter U.S. Market Through OneLavi Launch

Green Choice Proteins, an Australian plant-based nutrition company, will soon make its products available to U.S. consumers through online retailer OneLavi.com, the company announced. The move represents the brand's first planned U.S. consumer availability and signals the start of a wider American expansion strategy that also includes a planned Amazon launch and efforts to secure additional retail distribution.

The significance of the announcement lies in the company's step-by-step approach to entering one of the world's most competitive nutrition markets. Rather than pursuing a single large retail partnership, Green Choice Proteins is building a multi-channel presence that begins with direct-to-consumer e-commerce. "Making Green Choice Proteins available to American consumers is something we've been working toward, and OneLavi represents an exciting first step," said Puneet Chawla, Founder of Green Choice Proteins. "We want to introduce our approach to plant-based nutrition to a new audience, with products that combine quality ingredients, enjoyable flavors, and the convenience people look for in their everyday routines."

Three plant protein powders will be introduced on OneLavi, each built around the company's emphasis on ingredient transparency and functional daily nutrition. The Chocolate Flavored Protein Powder delivers 35.3g of plant protein per serving, uses Australian-grown pea and faba proteins, and includes pure cocoa powder, coconut milk powder, and omega-3 from linseed. The Vanilla Flavored Protein Powder offers 34.9g of plant protein per serving and is positioned for smoothies, oats, baking, and everyday nutrition routines. The Salted Caramel Flavored Protein Powder also provides 34.9g per serving, combining caramel sweetness with balanced salted notes. All three contain no artificial colours, flavours, or fillers and are manufactured in Victoria, Australia.

The OneLavi launch follows the company's participation in the September 2026 ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where it presented its Australian-made products to U.S. retail buyers. That combination of e-commerce and buyer relationship-building suggests the company is laying groundwork for sustained growth rather than a one-off online debut. "Our goal is to build Green Choice Proteins in the United States step by step," Chawla added. "OneLavi gives us an opportunity to begin reaching consumers directly, while our recent ECRM participation and plans for Amazon are part of a larger effort to introduce the brand across multiple retail channels."

Green Choice Proteins positions its products for a broad audience rather than exclusively traditional sports nutrition consumers, emphasizing clean-label ingredients and practical everyday use. The family-owned business also stresses responsible sourcing and Australian manufacturing, using plant proteins derived from Australian-grown crops. For U.S. consumers, the launch adds another Australian-made option to the growing plant protein category, while for the company it provides a direct test of American demand ahead of its planned Amazon and retail expansion.
