The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) returned to London Fashion Week with its Fashion Hong Kong runway show on 19 February at The Vinyl Factory in Soho, presenting Autumn/Winter 2026 collections from four local designers: Angus Tsui, Bettie Jiang, Harrison Wong, and Menu Tsai. The event drew over 300 international buyers, media, and fashion professionals, underscoring Hong Kong's creative excellence and its role as a key fashion design hub in Asia.
The showcased collections spanned avant-garde futurism, cultural fusion, zero-waste tailoring, and sporty aesthetics, highlighting innovation, sustainability, and global outlook. Notable attendees included model Eva Apio, singer CC Clarke, influencer Leo Mandella, and stylist Karine Laudort. Media coverage from outlets such as BBC News, DAZED, Forbes, Vogues Business, and Wonderland further amplified the designers' global exposure.
Beyond the runway, a curated display of selected works complemented by “NEXT@Fashion InStyle” pieces illustrated how innovation arises from creative use of new materials. This initiative is a key highlight of Fashion InStyle, a premier trade platform held annually in Hong Kong in April. Additionally, a professional designer showroom operated in London from 18 to 23 February, allowing international buyers to engage directly with the brands, test market responses, and explore collaboration opportunities.
Since its launch in 2015, Fashion Hong Kong has brought designers to major fashion weeks in New York, London, and Tokyo. The 2026 return to London underscores the strong international potential of Hong Kong design. With over 50 offices globally, the HKTDC continues to connect local talent with the global creative ecosystem, supporting brands in expanding overseas and reinforcing Hong Kong's position as a leading fashion hub.
