Ideal Group of Companies, Inc. (OTC: IDGR) has completed the acquisition of the El Quizer Mining Administrative Contract, a 675-hectare gold concession in Bolivia's Precambrian Shield, as announced in a press release. The move positions the company as an emerging player in the precious metals sector at a time when gold and platinum group metals (PGMs) are increasingly critical to technology industries.
The El Quizer concession, located in the Nuflo de Chavez Province, Santa Cruz Department, is fully permitted with a 30-year mining contract renewable for an additional 30 years. The property is accessible via paved highway and gravel road, approximately 3.5 hours from Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Independent estimates indicate significant mineral resources, including approximately 8 million metric tonnes of primary oxide stockpiles averaging 1.0 g/t gold, representing about 210,000 ounces of contained gold, with a potential 12-year mine life at 2,000 tonnes per day. Additionally, sulfide stockpiles and virgin primary formations offer further upside, with recent vein discoveries assaying up to 8.61 g/t gold. Preliminary analyses also suggest the presence of PGMs such as palladium, iridium, and rhodium.
The acquisition comes amid a structural shift in global demand for precious metals. Gold is essential for semiconductor packaging and high-frequency connectors in AI data centers, while central bank purchases hit record levels in 2022. PGMs are critical for hydrogen fuel cells, catalytic converters, and defense applications. Ideal Group's CEO, Charles Cardona, stated, 'The El Quizer acquisition puts us in the right place at the right time... at the precise moment when the metals this property contains have become indispensable to AI infrastructure, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing.'
Ideal Group has committed to responsible mining practices, including eliminating mercury and cyanide, closed-loop water recycling, renewable energy use, and community engagement. The company aims to create value for shareholders and Bolivia while contributing to the global supply chain for critical metals. For more information, visit idealgroupcorp.com.
