Johnson & Johnson Donation Boosts BRAVE Coalition's Breast Cancer Advocacy

BRAVE Coalition Foundation (Breast Restoration Advocacy & Education) has announced a generous donation from Johnson & Johnson, continuing a partnership since 2018 that advances patient-centered reconstruction education and advocacy for breast cancer survivors. The contribution will support the foundation's mission to empower women with knowledge and access throughout their recovery journey.

Johnson & Johnson's ongoing support reinforces a shared commitment to ensuring women have resources and advocacy to make informed decisions about their bodies and recovery after breast cancer. The donation will help expand programs focused on patient education, surgeon collaboration, community outreach, and survivor resources, particularly for those facing barriers due to insurance or socioeconomic status.

"Support like this allows us to expand our reach and deepen our impact," said Lisa Shumpert, President of BRAVE Coalition Foundation. "Johnson & Johnson's continued investment in our mission underscores the importance of standing beside patients—not just during treatment, but throughout their entire reconstruction and healing process."

Founded in 2012 by Dr. Allen Gabriel and Dr. Christine Grogan, BRAVE Coalition Foundation is the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to education and awareness about breast reconstruction options. The organization believes every woman should have the right to decide how they shape their recovery, regardless of insurance or socioeconomic status.
