King Global Ventures Inc. (CSE: KING) (OTCQB: KGLDF) (FSE: 5LM1) is advancing its exploration activities at the Black Canyon/Silver Cord project near Cleator, Arizona, aligning with a renewed U.S. federal focus on rebuilding domestic mining workforce capacity and securing critical mineral supply chains. The company is currently executing a 14,000-foot diamond drill program at the Iron Horse target to test priority geophysical anomalies for potential VMS-style sulphide mineralization within the Lower Spud Mountain Formation.
Recent drilling, geological evaluations, and XRF interpretation have identified prospective volcanic stratigraphy, hydrothermal alteration, feeder-style geochemical responses, and multiple marker horizons. To further probe the target at depth, the company is utilizing wedge drilling from hole IH-26-03. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to explore the project's potential for hosting significant mineralization.
King Global Ventures has highlighted previous drilling at Silver Cord, completed in December 2025, which intersected high-grade polymetallic veins containing silver, gold, lead, zinc, and antimony. Notably, one intercept returned 9 feet grading 619.6 g/t silver, 1.0 g/t gold, 0.6% lead, 1.05% zinc, and 375 g/t antimony. Such results underscore the project's potential for valuable metals, particularly antimony, which is classified as a critical mineral by the U.S. government.
The company's progress comes amid a favorable policy environment. On August 7, 2026, the White House announced $100 million in funding for 14 U.S. mining schools as part of more than $2 billion in new mining and mining-related investments, along with over $180 million dedicated to mining school and workforce funding. This policy backdrop could support domestic exploration companies targeting strategic minerals, including antimony, which is essential for various industrial and defense applications.
King Global Ventures is focused on exploring precious and base metals in North America. Its Black Canyon Project in Yavapai County, Arizona, comprises 213 contiguous concessions covering 4,000 acres, including 15 former operating mines such as the past-producing Howard Copper Mine. The project is situated approximately 100 kilometers north of Phoenix and represents an early-stage exploration opportunity targeting copper-gold-silver-zinc VMS mineralization. The geology of Yavapai County is notable for its diverse base and precious metal deposit types, with a rich history of mining operations like Bagdad, Jerome, and Cleopatra. The property is on trend and approximately 13 kilometers northwest of Arizona Metals Corp. (T:AMC).
The Howard Copper Mine Property, located on 78 acres of patented land, was discovered in the early 1920s and saw small-scale production focusing on high-grade copper. Historical reports indicate the main shaft was sunk to the 900-foot level, though no ore was mined below the 500-foot level.
In addition to its Arizona assets, King Global Ventures holds the Mikwam Gold Property in Noseworthy Township within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of northeastern Ontario. This property lies along the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone, which hosts Detour Gold's Burntbush Property. The Mikwam deposit is hosted within Timiskaming-aged polymictic conglomerate and greywacke units and contains disseminated and vein-hosted gold mineralization associated with quartz-carbonate veins and pyrite.
