LataMed AI Corp. (OTC: LMED), a healthcare technology company developing digital health and artificial intelligence solutions for Latin America, announced that its Venezuelan subsidiary LATAMEDAI VE has entered into a memorandum of understanding with FARMASER to develop a customized AI and automation platform for the pharmacy chain’s operations and planned expansion.
Under the memorandum, the parties will collaborate on designing, adapting, testing, and evaluating a software platform tailored to FARMASER’s operational requirements. They will define technical and operational specifications, adapt the software to pharmacy workflows, and establish a phased development and testing process. The platform is intended to support e-commerce, prescription management, customer service, inventory planning, and business analytics.
A key component of the collaboration is the potential integration of LataMed AI’s CardioAI, PulmoAI, and NeuroAI platforms across FARMASER’s three existing locations and up to 15 planned additional sites. These AI-supported tools are designed to assist in cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological health information and related digital health services, subject to continued development, testing, regulatory requirements, and clinical protocols. The company emphasized that any AI-supported functionality would assist workflows without replacing the judgment of pharmacists or medical professionals.
The parties are also evaluating an annual software licensing or subscription model for commercial implementation, though scope, timing, pricing, and other terms have not been finalized and remain subject to successful development, testing, and definitive agreements.

The platform represents a potential enterprise application beyond the company’s patient-facing telemedicine services, supporting pharmacy operations, digital commerce, prescription workflows, data analysis, and AI integration. This technology infrastructure may ultimately be adaptable to other healthcare organizations throughout Latin America.
The memorandum establishes a framework for cooperation but does not guarantee successful completion or commercial deployment, integration of AI technologies, execution of a definitive licensing agreement, opening of additional FARMASER locations, or revenue generation.
