The new Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap, now available on the company's websites, is designed to address the exact problem Kho faced with her first daughter: a baby who consistently wiggled an arm out of traditional swaddles, waking herself up and leaving her parents exhausted.
The swaddle wrap features a unique closure that wraps around the baby's torso, providing gentle, secure tension while allowing the legs to move freely, similar to a sleep sack. Made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, it is breathable and helps regulate body temperature, which is crucial for infants who cannot yet regulate their own. The insulation blends TENCEL™ Lyocell with DuPont™ Sorona®, a fiber that includes plant-based content derived from corn, offering both comfort and sustainability. The product is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring it is free from harmful substances.
Kho's personal experience drove the design. 'She always managed to wiggle one arm out — even through the zipper opening — and she'd wake herself up in the middle of the night,' she recalled. 'I even tried elastic bands around the shoulders just to keep her arms in. Looking back, it's almost comical. At the time, I was completely exhausted.'
The launch of the Swaddle Wrap extends Loulou Lollipop's award-winning Big Dreams sleep collection, which includes a Sleep Bag that earned a 2025 Good Housekeeping Parenting Award, back to the newborn stage. The wrap is available in three popular prints, with more expected soon.
The product has also been named a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance.
