Beginning August 25, Dr. Amell will travel to Scottsdale, Arizona, to deliver a keynote at the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) Symposium Conference. His presentation, scheduled for August 26, will focus on workplace health as a strategic imperative for organizations. The ISCEBS Symposium, running from August 23-26, gathers credentialed benefits professionals from across North America to discuss emerging trends and challenges in employee benefits.
Following his engagement in Scottsdale, Dr. Amell will head to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to speak at the 59th annual Canadian Employee Benefits Conference from August 30 to September 2. He will lead an in-depth workshop on living your best retirement from a preventive health perspective, offering insights to help pension and benefits professionals guide their members toward healthier retirement transitions.
In September, Dr. Amell will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland, to deliver a keynote at the International Forum on Disability Management (IFDM) on September 22-23. His address will cover modern integrated strategies for success in workplace health and productivity, work disability, and return-to-work programs. The IFDM connects international colleagues to share knowledge and support peer learning on disability, health, and wellness in the workplace.
Dr. Amell will conclude his fall tour in New Orleans at the 72nd annual Employee Benefits Conference, taking place October 25-28. There, he will discuss causes of worker burnout, the role of mental health initiatives, low-cost considerations, and best practices for implementation, alongside fellow employee representatives. This flagship conference provides attendees with tools, insights, and connections to make informed decisions about employee health and wellness benefits, retirement, benefits administration, pension, and investments.
"It is a great honor to be asked to deliver keynotes, plenary, breakout or workshop presentations that are of importance to conference attendees and organizers alike. There is so much good evidence out there, and such critical need for unbiased, outcome-based information to help guide employee health and wellness programming, that I am pleased to play a small role in the conference education experience of so many people," said Dr. Amell.
Dr. Amell is an internationally recognized leader in workplace health and productivity. In addition to his role at MediKeeper, he serves on the executive board of directors of the Wellness Alliance and is on faculty at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences.
