New Horizon Medical Solutions (NHMS), a leader in advanced wound care technologies, announced a strategic collaboration with Soring, the U.S. affiliate of Söring (Germany), to distribute the SONOCA 185 Ultrasonic-Assisted Wound (UAW) debridement system. This partnership aims to improve treatment outcomes for chronic and acute wounds across various medical settings by integrating ultrasonic debridement with NHMS's placental allograft products.
The Söring UAW system consists of an ultrasonic generator and instrument designed for debridement and wound cleansing. It removes fibrin tissues, including necroses, fibrin, scab, and pus, and breaks up biofilms. The device is indicated for conditions such as diabetic foot syndrome, decubitus ulcers, burns, post-surgical wounds, and post-traumatic wounds, improving wound status and promoting healing.
