Award-winning author Gina Iafrate has announced the release of her latest romantic fiction novel, Love And Betrayal, now available in print and ebook formats at Amazon. This novel is the third installment in the series that began with The Professor's Daughter.
Love And Betrayal follows the character Gracy, who initially believes she has found her true eternal love. However, as her married life progresses, her happiness turns to disillusionment. Her husband Alvaro's promises of fidelity and devotion are broken, leading to pain and suffering. His unfaithfulness brings catastrophic consequences, fueled by greed, jealousy, and revenge. Gracy's emotional journey of survival becomes challenging, but later in life, she finds courage through the intervention of caring people, ultimately rediscovering love, peace, and support.
The series, which includes The English Professor and The Professor's Daughter, is set in Italy and immerses readers in Gracy's adventures in love and the trials she faces. In The Professor's Daughter, Gracy Robertson is the love child of an intense affair. Taken from her dying mother at birth, she is raised in hiding by her devastated father to avoid the reach of corrupt mobsters. After the threat subsides, they seek peace, but her father's life ends, leaving Gracy to overcome grief. Her destiny takes her across the ocean where she finds love, but fate continues to test her with threats to her peace and life.
Iafrate's Strong Women series features romantic fiction novels with characters who overcome staggering odds to build inspiring lives. She writes sweeping family sagas that allow readers to travel globally, with layered narratives and dramatic movements reminiscent of writers like Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham. Her story lines include rich descriptions of exotic places, placing readers in the midst of those locales.
Other books in the series include The Girl From The Cornfield, which follows Giuliana Ferrante's journey from a 1950s Italian village to a successful legal career after a vicious attack. The English Professor tells the story of Andrew Robertson, who travels to Sicily and falls into a passionate affair with another man's wife, resulting in a child. Bestowed By Love And Splendour features a broken-hearted wife who finds peace on the island of Sardinia. Iafrate is also the author of Releases From My Soul, a collection of anthologies blending true stories and imagination, and is currently working on her seventh novel, The Shoeless Boy.
