Crit Team, an independent studio under ChillyRoom Game, announced the availability of a public multiplayer demo for No Such Place on Steam starting June 15, 2026, just ahead of Steam Next Fest. The top-down PvE extraction shooter allows players to experience early progression in both solo and 1–4 player online co-op modes. Supported languages include English, Japanese, and Chinese. Notably, part of the demo progression data will carry over into the full release, which is expected in Q4 2026.
In No Such Place, players assume the role of agents from the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.), an organization dedicated to investigating supernatural anomalies erased from history. Players are dispatched into fragmented dimensions to survive hostile environments, gather supplies and intelligence, and locate an extraction point before time runs out. The game features exploration of abandoned military outposts, research facilities, eternal forests, and frozen mountains, where players scavenge for weapons, medicine, and equipment while uncovering ancient relics and classified documents.
Survival is paramount, as threats include not only monsters but also rival agents, mercenaries, and deranged survivors. The game emphasizes that "when order collapses, the deadliest threat is rarely the monsters. It's the people." A flexible weapon customization system allows players to attach motorcycle suppressors, Victorian brass scopes, and corrupted rifle magazines across incompatible weapon types, enabling unique combinations.
Progression involves multiple paths: physical attributes and weapon proficiencies improve through survival and combat, while resources recovered during expeditions can be used to build and upgrade a Safehouse. The game supports up to 4-player online co-op, encouraging coordinated teamwork to maximize gains and ensure successful extractions.
The demo is available on the Steam page for No Such Place. A multiplayer trailer can be viewed on the game's YouTube channel. For more information, visit the official website.
