RazMania Midwest Festival to Bring 50+ Pro Athletes, Thousands of Collectors to Metro Detroit

The RazMania Midwest Festival is set to take over the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac, Michigan, on August 29-30, 2026, promising a weekend packed with sports memorabilia, trading card games, and appearances by more than 50 professional athletes. Organizers expect thousands of collectors and fans from across the Midwest to converge on the venue for what they bill as one of the region's premier sports and TCG collectibles festivals.

The event, founded by Jason Raznick, Patrick Lane, and Elliot Lane, aims to unite every facet of the collecting hobby. Attendees will have ample opportunities to buy, sell, and trade sports cards, Pokémon cards, comics, and other memorabilia. Beyond the hundreds of vendor booths, the festival will feature autograph sessions and photo opportunities with athletes from the Detroit Lions, University of Michigan football, and other high-profile names.

Among the confirmed athletes are Detroit Lions players Jameson Williams, Jake Bates, Jack Fox, Brock Wright, and Hogan Hatten, as well as University of Michigan football standouts Jordan Marshall, Zack Marshall, Enow Etta, and Avery Gach. High school recruits DeAndre Bidden and Jayden Evans, both rated among the top prospects in their classes, will also be present. The full roster includes many more professional, college, and NIL athletes.

In addition to the trading and meet-and-greets, the festival will offer interactive fan experiences such as a 40-yard dash, half-court shot, and field goal kicks. These activities are designed to appeal to attendees of all ages, making the event family-friendly.

A significant component of RazMania is its commitment to community engagement. In partnership with Pontiac United and the Boys & Girls Club of Troy, the festival will host hundreds of local youth, giving them the chance to meet athletes and experience the excitement of the hobby firsthand.

Jeff Evans, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that the event provides a fun opportunity for kids to interact with sports heroes. Traciee Hirsch, founder and CEO of Pontiac United, thanked RazMania and the Dream Forward Foundation for creating opportunities that inspire youth to dream beyond their current circumstances.

The economic impact of the event is also significant, as it draws a dedicated audience of collectors and vendors. Businesses interested in reaching this engaged demographic can still secure vendor spaces and sponsorship opportunities. RazMania's founders emphasize that the festival is about fostering a sense of community among collectors. Jason Raznick, founder, said, "RazMania is about bringing together the entire collecting community under one roof. Whether you're a lifelong collector, a sports fan, a Pokémon enthusiast, or someone attending their first card show, we want everyone to experience the excitement of discovering incredible collectibles, meeting athletes, and connecting with others who share the same passion."

The event is scheduled for August 29-30, 2026, at the UWM Sports Complex, located at 867 South Blvd. E., Pontiac, MI 48341.
