Paper Garden Records recording artists The Storm Windows have released a new single, "There's a Reason for Saturday Nights," from their forthcoming live album. The track was recorded live at Tank Studio in Burlington, Vermont, on November 1, 2025, before an enthusiastic audience.
The band, known as purveyors of "Power-Folk," has been described by Spin Magazine as the "Folk Ramones." The single features the trio of Rob Mathews on guitar and vocals, Don Mathews on upright bass and vocals, and Erik Anderson on drums. It is the first release on the PGRoots label of Paper Garden Records and precedes a full live album scheduled for release on August 21.

The Storm Windows derive their name from a John Prine song title, reflecting their status as veteran musicians who have weathered storms and continue to perform.
