True Nutrition Technology (TNT), the German sports nutrition brand with more than 500,000 customers, is set to attend the ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session from Sept. 14-17 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with a clear objective: build new retail relationships and continue expanding its presence in the United States. The session brings together brands and category buyers from across retail channels through scheduled business meetings, giving TNT a platform to introduce retailers to its German roots and a sports nutrition portfolio developed for athletes and active consumers.
For TNT, the move represents a critical step in its U.S. strategy. The company's products are already available to American consumers through Amazon and OneLavi, providing an established online presence. However, transitioning from e-commerce availability to broader retail distribution is an important next phase for the brand. Managing Director Markus Himmelstoss will lead the effort, emphasizing that ECRM is about building relationships and finding the right retail partners for the next stage of growth. "We've built a strong customer base in Germany and Europe, and we're excited to sit down with U.S. retailers, learn more about what they're looking for, and show them what TNT can bring to their sports nutrition assortment," Himmelstoss said.
The U.S. sports nutrition market is notoriously competitive, but TNT views that challenge as an opportunity. "American consumers have tremendous choice. We believe TNT's combination of German product development, quality, and a brand built around serious performance gives us something distinctive to bring to retailers," Himmelstoss added. TNT's portfolio includes Creapure Creatine Monohydrate, CLEAR WHEY protein isolate, Synapsensause Pre-Workout, and Game Changer, a carbohydrate and electrolyte formulation. Rather than focusing on a single product, TNT plans to discuss the broader brand and identify where individual products may fit within different retail assortments. "We don't expect every retailer to be looking for exactly the same thing," Himmelstoss said. "That's one of the advantages of having a broader portfolio."
The company's expansion builds on a foundation of more than 500,000 customers in Germany, where it has established itself as a leading sports nutrition brand since 2012. Founded by former athletes Michael Weigl and Markus Himmelstoss, TNT produces premium supplements under strict German quality standards, with every product independently lab-tested for safety, purity, and transparency. The brand's core lineup includes CLEAR WHEY Protein Isolate and other performance-focused supplements widely used by athletes to support strength, recovery, energy, and training intensity.
For Himmelstoss, the ECRM meetings are about moving the U.S. effort forward through direct conversations with retail decision-makers. "We're not starting from scratch. We know who we are as a brand, we know our products, and we've spent years building trust with consumers. Now we're looking forward to introducing TNT to more U.S. retailers and finding partners who see the same opportunity we do." The outcome of these meetings could determine how quickly TNT transitions from an online-only presence to a broader retail footprint in the United States, a move that would significantly increase its reach and competition in the American sports nutrition market.
