Toblerone today announced "The Ultimate Gift," a collaboration with Swarovski that brings the brand's "Never Square" ethos to life through a limited series of hand-made crystal replicas of the original Toblerone chocolate bar. The Toblerone Crystal Bar crafted by Swarovski will be auctioned at major international airports and online from 1st July to 31st July 2026, with 100% of winning bids donated to local charities selected by each airport.
The crystal bar is modeled on the original Toblerone chocolate bar and manufactured in Austria. Each piece weighs 851 grams, measures 305 millimeters, and features 546 individually cut facets. It required 140 hours of development and 65 hours of production, entirely handmade, using high-precision cutting technology for unmatched brilliance. The bars are individually numbered and certified.
Travellers passing through Athens, Delhi, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Madrid, New York JFK, Singapore, and Zurich airports will encounter pop-up experiences where they can bid in person. Global participation is also available online; bidders can visit the auction site for details and learn more about the charities involved.
Iain Livingston, President of Toblerone & World Travel Retail, stated: "Toblerone has always been more than a chocolate bar. It's a ritual, a symbol of travel, and one of the world's most recognized gifts. Creating the Toblerone Crystal Bar crafted by Swarovski feels like a natural expression of who we are: a brand that takes quality seriously but never takes itself too seriously. The Ultimate Gift is exactly that and will raise funds to support brilliant causes that help make the world a better place."
For those preferring an immediate purchase, Toblerone is also launching a limited-edition Ultimate Gift Box adorned with Swarovski crystals, available exclusively in World Travel Retail throughout the campaign period. Inside is a Milk Toblerone bar.
The partnership highlights shared values between the two Swiss-rooted brands: a commitment to quality craftsmanship and unpretentious luxury. Swarovski, founded in 1895 in Austria, delivers a diverse portfolio of unmatched quality and creativity, while Toblerone, invented in Switzerland in 1908, has become one of the world's most recognized silhouettes through its triangular shape.
The auction proceeds will support charitable organizations already established in local communities, chosen by the airports. This initiative underscores Toblerone's broader "Never Square" philosophy, which celebrates non-conformity and meaningful gifting.
