Travaleo, LLC, a branded real estate investment and development platform wholly-owned by Genesis Holdings, Inc. (OTC: GNIS), announced today that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the owners and developer of the Hotel Tulasi Mandir project on Isla de Coche, Estado Nueva Esparta, Venezuela. The project involves a 28-villa luxury boutique hotel, which the parties plan to develop into a world-class, branded luxury destination in the Caribbean.
The MOU establishes a 90-day exploratory period during which the parties will assess development plans, branding strategy, and financing alternatives. The cooperation may include strategic development planning, capital advisory support, and the introduction of an internationally recognized hospitality brand, subject to definitive agreements. The MOU is non-binding except for customary confidentiality and related provisions.
Oscar Brito, CEO of Travaleo and Genesis Holdings, stated that this project represents Travaleo’s flagship debut in Venezuela and positions the company as a clear entry gateway for international and U.S.-based investors seeking institutional-grade exposure to Venezuelan branded luxury real estate. He noted that Venezuela has extraordinary natural assets and that this development could set a new standard for premium boutique hospitality in the Caribbean. Beyond Isla de Coche, Travaleo is actively evaluating additional 'crown-jewel' locations and iconic properties, including select opportunities in Caracas, to build a curated portfolio across the country.
A representative of the Seller expressed pleasure in formalizing the collaboration with Travaleo, highlighting the opportunity to elevate the exceptional location into a globally competitive luxury destination. The representative looked forward to leveraging Travaleo’s experience in branded hospitality and capital markets to realize the full potential of the Caribbean asset.
The announcement underscores Travaleo’s strategy to identify, structure, and manage income-producing and development-oriented real estate projects with a focus on professionally underwritten assets and brand-driven developments. The platform, wholly-owned by Genesis Holdings, emphasizes disciplined execution aligned with long-term ownership strategies. More information about Travaleo can be found at https://www.travaleo.com.
