Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has been named to the 2026 TSX30, an annual ranking of the top-performing companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange over a three-year period based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation. The company’s share price increased 570% during the three years ended June 30, 2026, underscoring strong investor confidence and the growing strategic value of its assets.
President and CEO Tony Giardini said the recognition reflects investor confidence in Trilogy and the strategic importance of the Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain. The Arctic Project is part of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP), which Trilogy holds through a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC. Ambler Metals has a 100 percent interest in the UKMP, located within the Ambler Mining District—one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world. The district hosts polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits containing copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver, as well as carbonate replacement deposits with high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization.
The TSX30 recognition matters because it shines a spotlight on a company positioned to help address the United States’ reliance on foreign sources for critical minerals. Copper and cobalt are essential for renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, and defense applications. As the U.S. seeks to secure domestic supply chains, the Ambler Mining District could become a significant North American source of these materials. Trilogy’s vision is to develop the district into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods, guided by an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation.
On December 19, 2019, South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company, exercised its option to form a 50/50 joint venture with Trilogy Metals. This partnership brings additional expertise and financial strength to the UKMP, which spans approximately 190,929 hectares. Exploration efforts have focused on two deposits: the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit. Both are located within the land package and represent significant potential for future development.
The 570% share price appreciation over three years indicates that the market is increasingly valuing Trilogy’s resource base and the geopolitical importance of its projects. As the global transition to clean energy accelerates, demand for copper and cobalt is expected to rise, making projects like Arctic strategically vital. Trilogy’s inclusion in the TSX30 not only celebrates past performance but also signals the company’s potential to play a key role in strengthening America’s critical mineral independence.
For investors, the recognition may enhance Trilogy’s visibility and credibility, potentially attracting further interest from institutional and retail investors alike.
