tZERO Group, Inc., a provider of blockchain-powered multi-asset infrastructure, has partnered with institutional tokenization platform Nomyx to enable issuers to move seamlessly from primary issuance to secondary trading within a regulated environment. The collaboration integrates Nomyx's tokenization capabilities with tZERO's SEC- and FINRA-regulated broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System (ATS) infrastructure, along with on-chain custodial services.
Through this partnership, Nomyx can now offer issuers a complete lifecycle solution: tokenization services paired with a direct pathway to regulated primary issuance and secondary liquidity via tZERO's ecosystem. This provides issuers with a credible route to market, integrated infrastructure spanning issuance through secondary trading and institutional on-chain custody, and access to regulated digital asset securities workflows designed for institutional-grade participation.
Alan Konevsky, CEO of tZERO, stated, "Our partnership with Nomyx reflects a shared commitment to bringing institutional-grade infrastructure and credibility to tokenized markets. Issuers are increasingly looking for solutions that don’t stop at tokenization but connect directly into end-to-end regulated trading environments. By working together, we’re helping bridge that gap, and creating yet another pathway for some of our services."
Ubair Javaid, CEO of Nomyx, added, "Our focus at Nomyx is to simplify tokenization and deliver a complete system built for institutional adoption. This partnership gives our clients a clearer path to secondary liquidity and broader market access. By aligning with tZERO’s regulated trading infrastructure, we are connecting primary issuance with compliant secondary markets in a way that meets market expectations."
The partnership aims to support a more compliant tokenization lifecycle by connecting issuance capabilities with regulated trading infrastructure, helping issuers move from capital formation to secondary market participation and on-chain custody within a trusted market framework.
As part of the collaboration, issuers benefit from tZERO's established regulatory framework, which includes oversight by the SEC and FINRA. tZERO's broker-dealer subsidiaries, tZERO Digital Asset Securities, LLC and tZERO Securities, LLC, are registered with the SEC and members of FINRA and SIPC, providing a trusted environment for digital asset securities trading. Nomyx's platform complements this by integrating digital identity and compliance controls at the protocol level, supporting KYC and AML workflows, investor eligibility rules, and jurisdictional transfer restrictions.
This collaboration addresses a key challenge in the tokenized securities market: the gap between tokenization and liquidity. By providing a direct, regulated route from tokenization to trading, tZERO and Nomyx aim to enhance investor confidence and facilitate broader adoption of digital asset securities among institutional participants.
