Upside Gold Compiles Historic Data, Expands Kena Gold-Copper System Potential

Upside Gold Corp. (CSE: UG) (FSE: 47I) (OTCQB: UGODF) provided a progress update on its 10,115-hectare Kena Gold-Copper Property in southeastern British Columbia, focusing on the ongoing compilation of historic exploration data. The work has significantly improved the understanding of the mineralized system, revealing a trend extending at least seven kilometres along strike and highlighting expansion potential beyond the historic resource estimate of 2.77 million inferred ounces at 0.486 g/t Au and 0.561 million indicated ounces at 0.544 g/t Au.

The compilation integrated geological, geophysical, and geochemical data, outlining a mineralized trend that remains open in multiple directions and at depth. Multiple priority gold-copper drill targets have been identified for the 2026 program, including the potential to define a second major mineralized zone within the Kena Copper Zone. The work was supported by reviewing historical analog documentation and fieldwork completed during 2025.

As part of the drillhole database compilation, it was found that over 90% of historic drilling included multi-element analyses, but only gold results were previously recorded. Silver and copper results were systematically extracted and added to the master database, revealing copper values up to 71,800 ppm and silver values up to 145 ppm. This addition is expected to demonstrate significant additional value within the project.

The integration of mapped geology and structural interpretation with geophysical surveys supports the conclusion that mineralization is structurally controlled by the Kena Deformation Zone, a major southeast-trending fault zone. Induced polarization (IP) surveys identify zones of high chargeability and low resistivity, supporting a strike length of at least seven kilometres for the mineralized system. Sporadic historic drilling outside the resource returned wide intervals of mineralization, including 117 metres of 0.22% Cu and 0.14 g/t Au, and 90 metres of 0.9 g/t Au.

Dr. Trevor Boyd, Vice President of Exploration, stated, "This compilation work has significantly improved our understanding of the Kena mineralized system. Integrating decades of exploration data into a modern 3D model is helping us identify areas where mineralization may extend beyond the historic resource and focus our 2026 drilling on the most promising expansion targets."

The Company plans to focus the majority of first priority diamond drill targets on testing along strike to the southeast within the Kena Copper Zone, aiming to define a second major mineralized zone. The work also supports that the mineralized system extends across much of the southern half of the Property, which has never undergone diamond drilling. The Kootenay region has been largely overlooked for gold and copper exploration, offering opportunities for new discoveries.
