VinDynamics, a robotics technology company within Vingroup, and Skild AI, a developer of foundation models for robotics, have announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on humanoid robotics and embodied AI. The partnership, announced on June 8, 2026, aims to accelerate humanoid robotics development through global collaboration and advanced technology integration.
Under the MOU, the collaboration will focus on embodied AI research, robot manipulation, sim-to-real transfer, edge AI deployment, and validation of humanoid systems in real-world environments. A key component is the potential integration of Skild AI's omnibodied AI software, The Skild Brain, into VinDynamics' humanoid robots. The Skild Brain runs directly on robotic hardware, enhancing adaptability, efficiency, and reliability in practical applications.
Additional areas of cooperation may include knowledge exchange on robot intelligence and real-world deployment, joint software, model, and hardware development, and potential large-scale manufacturing of humanoid robots. The partnership brings together VinDynamics' robotics engineering, manufacturing capabilities, and deployment ecosystem with Skild AI's foundation model technology.
