Vingroup has been ranked 340th in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026, a jump of 477 places from its 817th position last year. The Hanoi-based conglomerate remains the only Vietnamese company on the prestigious list, which is compiled by TIME and Statista based on revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency. The recognition highlights Vingroup’s rapid transformation from a domestic real estate developer into a diversified multinational with operations in 12 countries and approximately 400,000 employees worldwide.

The ranking’s methodology evaluates companies across three dimensions: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency, supported by in-depth analysis of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) factors. Vingroup achieved an overall score of 81, with an “Outstanding” rating in revenue growth. In the first half of 2026, the group reported consolidated net revenue of VND 222.9 trillion, up 72% year on year, driven by industrial manufacturing and real estate. Consolidated profit after tax reached VND 20.904 trillion, 4.6 times higher than the same period last year and equivalent to 60% of the full-year target.

Employee satisfaction also improved significantly, with Vingroup ranking 398th globally, up 496 places from 2025. The group attributes this to a dynamic work environment that encourages dedication, innovation, and individual development. In terms of sustainability transparency, Vingroup has advanced green transition initiatives, infrastructure development, and sustainable urban ecosystems. VinFast, the group’s electric vehicle arm, has become Vietnam’s leading automotive brand by sales volume and aims to deliver 300,000 cars and 1 million electric motorcycles globally in 2026. Vinhomes has pioneered the ESG++ urban model, adding Regeneration and Resilience to the core ESG pillars, raising standards for large-scale sustainable urban developments.

In 2025, Vingroup expanded into two new strategic areas: Infrastructure and Green Energy. Through VinSpeed, high-speed railway projects such as Ben Thanh – Can Gio (Ho Chi Minh City) and Hanoi – Quang Ninh are under construction. Energy projects developed by VinEnergo across multiple localities are also underway, contributing to regional connectivity, economic expansion, and the green transition. These moves position Vingroup as a key player in Vietnam’s infrastructure and energy future.

The recognition by TIME, a leading global magazine headquartered in New York with a 101-year history, carries significant weight. TIME’s rankings are widely respected for their independent analysis and influence on public discourse. Vingroup’s inclusion for a second consecutive year, and its dramatic rise, signals Vietnam’s growing role in the global economy. It also underscores the potential of Vietnamese enterprises to compete on sustainability, innovation, and growth. As Vingroup continues to expand internationally, its performance will be closely watched as a bellwether for Vietnam’s corporate sector.
