Virtuix Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) is poised for accelerated growth following its recent initial public offering, according to CEO Jan Goetgeluk. In an interview on Benzinga’s All Access, Goetgeluk highlighted the company’s triple-digit revenue growth and outlined strategic plans for the fresh capital.
Goetgeluk reported that Virtuix achieved 138% year-over-year growth, driven by strong consumer demand for its Omni One virtual reality treadmill gaming system. “It's an exciting time for us,” he said. “We reported 138% year-over-year growth. So we’re growing and we are ready to scale.” The Omni One system allows players to physically move through virtual worlds, providing an immersive gaming experience that also promotes physical activity. Goetgeluk noted that one customer lost 40 pounds in four months using the system.
The IPO proceeds, combined with an $11 million investment from Chicago Venture Partners and a $50 million equity line of credit, will fund growth initiatives and market expansion. Goetgeluk specifically mentioned plans to enter the defense sector, leveraging the technology for training simulations. The full interview is available at Benzinga's YouTube channel.
