Western Star Resources Completes Phase 1 Exploration at Rowland Tungsten Property, Confirms Multiple Zones of Historical Workings

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) announced the successful completion of Phase 1 exploration at its 100% owned, past-producing Rowland Tungsten Property in Elko County, Nevada. The program included a high-resolution UAV magnetic geophysical survey, focused soil geochemistry, rock-chip sampling, and field checking of historical workings. Samples have been submitted to the laboratory with rush processing requested.

The Phase 1 field program materially increased the company's understanding of the property. Four discrete zones of extensive historical tungsten-bearing workings were confirmed on the ground, all hosted within the same skarn-style geological setting as the originally targeted Rowland workings. Key highlights include the confirmation of Northern Zone B as the most significant historical development, with dilapidated wooden infrastructure consistent with an ore chute and several decommissioned shafts. The Rowland Main zone displayed extensive UV fluorescence consistent with scheelite mineralization.

Blake Morgan, CEO and President, stated, "Rowland has come out of Phase 1 looking considerably more prospective than the historical record suggested. We expected a single past-producing zone; the field crew came back with multiple zones of extensive historical development, including a previously undocumented central area with processing infrastructure, shafts, and 600 to 700 metres of trenching."

The Northern Zone A, which prompted the company's prior expansion of the claim package, was validated with larger waste dumps and surface piles than historical records indicate. The Northern Zone B, not documented in publicly available records, was identified through LiDAR review and confirmed to have 3 to 4 shafts and a series of trenches testing approximately 600 to 700 metres of strike length. The Rowland Main zone showed multiple additional workings and extensive scheelite fluorescence.

The UAV magnetic survey, the first modern high-resolution geophysical dataset for the property, is being processed with preliminary results expected shortly. Rock and soil samples have been rush-submitted, and assay results are expected over the coming weeks. The company plans to integrate these results to finalize a Phase 2 program and advance toward drill targeting and permitting.
