Western Star Resources Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Properties

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 42K) has released certified assay results from its inaugural programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and adjoining White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada. The results demonstrate high-grade tungsten mineralization, with peak rock-chip assays of 4.02% WO3 at Rowland Main and 3.00% WO3 at the White Star Batholith Mine, significantly exceeding reported historical grades.

Blake Morgan, CEO and President, stated that these results mark an exciting development and validate the high-grade nature of the district. With geophysical surveys completed and assays in hand, the company is building an integrated dataset for drill target generation across the Jarbidge-Charleston tungsten footprint.

At the Rowland Property, sampling across three zones of historical workings returned multiple high-grade results. The Rowland Main zone yielded 18 samples ranging from 0.01% to 4.02% WO3, with five samples exceeding 1.0% WO3, including 4.02%, 2.69%, 2.56%, 2.11%, and 1.25% WO3. These samples also showed elevated molybdenum, silver, copper, and manganese, consistent with a scheelite-bearing tungsten skarn system. Northern Zone B returned up to 1.22% WO3 with silver up to 10.85 g/t and molybdenum up to 119.5 ppm. Northern Zone A confirmed tungsten mineralization with 0.23% WO3.

At the White Star Project, initial rock-chip sampling returned 3.00% WO3 and 711 ppm molybdenum from a previously unknown mineralized area, along with 0.13% WO3 from a rehabilitated open pit zone. These results align with historical production grades from the Batholith/Mission Cross Mine.

The company plans to integrate these assay results with completed UAV magnetic geophysical surveys and pending soil geochemistry to support ongoing drill target generation. Further soil sampling is continuing, and updates will be provided as results are received.

The scientific and technical information has been reviewed by qualified person Jasper Mowatt. Samples were analyzed by ALS Global in Reno, Nevada, with QA/QC protocols including standards, blanks, and duplicates.
